With 15 years of professional design experience, Sara is the creative force behind the design and marketing efforts at Lake Effect. An alum of Kendall College of Art & Design, Sara’s background includes a wide range of clients such as Steelcase, Gerber, Nestle, and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital along with a position in the marketing department of a San Francisco architecture firm.

Migrating from a strong print focus to the digital world of website design and mobile apps, Sara has a clear understanding of how to integrate both into a successful campaign.

What does your ideal weekend look like?

Taking my dog for a walk, swinging by a local coffee shop, maybe the farmers market. Then heading up a peninsula to swing by a few of my fave wine or cider tasting locations. 

I never go to the beach without:

An icy cooler and a paperback.

Name one place you’re going to travel to in the next year:

I really want to go back to New Orleans. But I feel like a tour up the coast of the Pacific Northwest could be a good choice.
