Director of Business Development

As the Director of Business Development Lindsey’s activities support the growth (both internal and external) of the company, the monitoring and upholding of its customer service standards and the fulfillment of the owner’s mission and vision. Lindsey brings 14 years of experience in the tourism industry, a sincere enthusiasm about the excellent service that Lake Effect provides, an understanding of business strategy, and the importance of building relationships based on integrity and honesty.

Her areas of responsibility at Lake Effect include:

  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with external clients in the tourism and hospitality sectors
  • Developing and implementing partnerships with other attractions and tourism entities
  • Serving as liaison to various municipal and civic organizations
  • Managing special internal projects, including the acquisition and management of federal concessions contracts

Lindsey and her family live the nomadic Park Service life and are currently stationed down at Cumberland Island National Seashore. Her husband, their two kids and dog’s favorite things to do are going on family “adventures”. Whether that be: taking a boat ride through the GA inter-coastal waterways; driving over 20 hours to visit grandparents in Maine and Michigan; or just surviving a trip to the grocery store, they always look for the positive and try to make life exciting.
