Traverse Tourism came to Lake Effect to find a solution to creating demand for winter recreation in the Traverse City area. Utilizing artificial intelligence and programmatic buying, we created a display ad and Facebook campaign that reached out to web users in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. With over 9 million web impressions, the campaign exceeded most goals with an average CPA of $1.90 and, average CPM of $2.50 and brought in over 90% new visitors that had not been reached before. Utilizing AI allowed our campaign to optimize over time as it searched the web for new visitors that normal display marketing may have never found.
